We reached a big milestone this past weekend. We officially upgraded the kids to their forward facing car seats that were very generous Christmas gifts from mine and Dusty's parents! (x4!) We are so blessed that they were each so gracious to get two for each of our vehicles. During the day we run errands in my car but at night and on the weekends we always take Dusty's truck out so it just made sense to have seats in both. (We have had infant bases in both this last year and we used them all the time.) We are also thankful they were willing to gift us to them early. Although neither of the babies even came close to the weight limit of their infant seats, Mason had outgrown the length limit by 3/4 of an inch so we felt it was best to get him upgraded right away. Plus we are so relieved to have them facing forward, just makes things a lot easier, especially with two!
Thanks to my best friend Lacye who helped me research and pick a safe yet affordable car seat, (did I mention we needed 4, haha) we got these awesome Graco ones for a good deal online at Target. I love them and the best part is they will last us all the way through the booster stage so we shouldn't need to purchase anymore in the future.
Now, don't my little babies just look to grown up in those huge seats? They were so proud of themselves and the whole new world to explore out the windows. I just love these little monkeys!
