39 Inches!!
I am fascinated with how your body just stretches and grows so quickly. Since I know I will experience much more of that with the twins I really wanted to track just how big I get!
Our last ultrasound at 20 weeks, the babies were looking beautiful. They were each measuring 12 ounces and also measuring a few days ahead of my dates which is excellent. My last OB appointment at 22 weeks, I was measuring 28 cm, about 6 weeks ahead which is very normal for twins although I did experience quite a growth spurt from the appointment before!
This week I have to go in for a CBC, check blood counts and iron levels, and my exciting glucola test to see if I have gestational diabetes. Twin pregnancies run a higher risk of complications including GD, so I am praying that all the results are good news!
We cannot wait for December to get here but I am excited to watch and feel the babies continue to grow and thrive in preparation for the big day!
