More December Fun

The weather at the beginning of the month was unseasonably warm! We played outside a ton and even took a few trips to the park!

Caught this pic of my girl swinging while Bubba practiced on his scooter...

It was weird to see her in capris and jellies with her Christmas trees dress, haha. But that's Texas for ya!

We went to the mall for Santa pics. I was really unsure of how Mase would do this year. Let's recap first...

This year was finally a huge success! Mason was very hesitant before we left for the mall, but once we were there he was ok. He still just wanted to sit by Santa and not on him but I threw him in his lap and he was fine!

My favorite! It turned out so cute!

Checking Santa out

Hugs!

We ended up making a day of the Santa stop by enjoying a chickfila lunch and...

Dippin Dots with sprinkles! I may or may not have bribed him with these, haha.

And ornament picking!

No surprise on either of their choices. Although Mal wanted a baby bottle that said baby on it. I had to talk her into something more appropriate for a not-so-baby-anymore girl! :) What can I say, she loves playing babies and feeding them.

That week was also the buggies Christmas party at PDO.

Love these little ones even when they drive me crazy!

Book exchange and goodies

They also had pajama day on their last day of school. Goofy kids.

Next I will share our Polar Express adventure! And quite an adventure it turned out to be! :/

Let It Begin

After Thanksgiving I was so excited to get the Christmas celebration started! We decorated the house the day after Thanksgiving and then spent the next weekend in Fredericksburg celebrating with Dustys grandpa and attending the Christmas parade on Main Street.

Waiting on the parade to start!

Cutie pie being silly!

Waving!

Mal and I were able to do a couple of hours of shopping on Main Street.

She wanted to take a picture by the deer and the antler tree. Haha.

The "best" pic I got of the cousins opening presents!

It was a fun trip and it was great seeing Popo and the family! More December fun coming up!

Happy Thanksgiving 2015

Thanksgiving was so fun this year! We started off the festivities at my parents house where they hosted all of my Dads family for a delicious lunch! It was the first time doing it at Honey and Poppys and they really were wonderful hosts and accommodated over 30 people!

My little turkey!

My second cousins adorable son!

And my sweet and adorable nephew!

Then it was on to Gamaw and Papaws house for dinner with D's family!

Some of the family in town are big Texas fans so in addition to a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, we had a blast watching the big Tech win that night!

We definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year and enjoyed celebrating those blessings with our families!

Family Fajita Birthday Dinner

We had our annual fajita dinner at our house the night before Thanksgiving to celebrate the twins birthday. It has been a fun little tradition getting to celebrate with lots of family that we only see a few times a year!

Thanks to all our sweet family members for coming to celebrate and for loving our buggies so much! They had a blast!

Happy 4th Birthday!

The weekend before Thanksgiving was the kids fourth birthday! I can't believe that we are here. It feels like yesterday that I was bringing home my little tiny babies. And now they are preschoolers!

That Friday we were joined by our best girlfriends! We were able to enjoy dinner and some shopping together that evening! D and Mason went to the deer lease with Papaw and cousin Christian that night so it was a true girls slumber party!

These cute girls are the best! Busy playing together. It was so fun to watch them!

We did a little impromptu shopping while we waited for our table. Lace bought the girls these precious puppy purses.

That night they wore their matching pjs and took some silly pics!

That Saturday was the kids birthday and party day! We spent the day doing a few things to prep for the party. It was so nice to not have to get my own house ready though. We decided to do it at Mals dance studio this year and it was perfect!

Mallory wanted a princess party and Mason wanted a superhero birthday so it made for a cute joint bday theme. I love how their cakes turned out!

We had lots of friends and family at the birthday party and everyone had a blast. I think they could have stayed all night.

I am so thankful that my sister, Gamaw and my friend Haley got such good pics at the party because I was too busy to take many.

Look at all those sweet kiddos!

Boys will be boys!

Thank you to all of the wonderful families that came to celebrate another birthday with our biggest blessings. We are so thankful for all the love shown to our family that day!

More fun updates to come including the kids family birthday, a 4 year post, Thanksgiving, and our trip to Fredericksburg!
