Happy THIRD Birthday Buggies!

On Friday our sweet babies turned THREE years old. Three. Gosh, I just don't understand how time can go so fast...

I wanted to do something a little special for the monkeys on their actual birthday so we got dressed in birthday shirts that morning and headed to the donut shop! (Who am I kidding, I just wanted a donut, hehe!) But I did get some cutie pics of my loves first!

(This is why I don't ever try to take pics of them together. Uncooperative little stinkers!)

Maser kept calling it the "donut shopping" instead of the donut shop. I couldn't stop giggling at that one!

And of course princess picked the pink sprinkle one! I've created a little pink loving monster!

We celebrated their birthday with a pumpkin party on Saturday with lots of our little friends. It was super cute and I loved having almost 20 kids in our house! It was crazy fun! A very special thanks to my sweet bestest friend Lacye who worked her tail off helping me get ready both Friday night and Saturday! I am so thankful she and her sweet little girl were able to come down to celebrate with us!

I unfortunately did not designate a photographer for the party so got almost NO pictures but here are a few! Its ok, we were too busy playing pin the nose on the pumpkin, breaking a pumpkin piñata and painting baby pumpkins! Fun memories!

The birthday boy was too busy playing "pow pows" with the boys!

My sweet pumpkin head nephew! He is getting so BIG!

My sweet birthday girl and her new Rapunzel dress that she LOVES!
(Thankful that my sister got these pics! Holding the baby and all!)

Mason had no interest in singing Happy Birthday until he heard that Mal was getting to blow out candles, then apparently he was all about it! Ha.

Happy Birthday to my twins, my buggies, my babies, my loves, my world!  You have both changed my life, my heart, and my soul and I am thankful EVERYDAY for you both!

These Two

These little lovies had a great, great day today. We've had some pretty rough disciplianary days lately so I was a little anxious about taking them to school, especially after not having been there in two weeks. I spent our drive to school in prayer for my kids and their teachers, as well as encouraging my kiddos to display their sweet spirits.

And a great day it was. They were both in good moods and were kind to their friends and teachers. Mason even napped and when I picked them up I heard Mallory exclaiming an enthusiastic "thank you" to her teacher who had just handed her a book.

To top it off, they were incredibly sweet, happy, kind and well mannered kids when we got home and right up to bedtime.

am so thankful for a good day! It's just the win we needed in this house!

Roller Coaster

(You should know that I am writing this post from my phone in the tent with my little family at the deer lease. My first time camping and I am loving it! Anyway, the kids and husband are tucked in and watching a movie on the iPad. So I thought I would catch up here.)

Life has been quite the roller coaster lately. Last week I had the pleasure of keeping our nephew for a day. The kids got along well for the most part and we made it a fun day.

That night I found standing water in the front yard and it turned out we had a leak in some pipe right outside our house. So two late nights and a day without water later, and my handy husband and I had it fixed. My help involved staying up late to keep him company.

The next day was halloween and Mallory started running fever. She ended up throwing up that night.

Dusty and I had already had plans (for literally 6 months) to be at the UT - Tech game the next day with friends and while Mallory was not great, she was well enough to stay with my parents. I was thrilled to be able to go have fun for a day and night.

When we picked the kids up on Sunday, Mallory had tons of red blisters on the roof of her mouth and throat. Then Mason started running fever on Monday. They both had a yucky throat infection and were highly contagious so spent this whole week at home.

And now we are camping and "hunting deer" as Mason would say. And I am just thrilled to be out of the house, no matter how cold we get tonight. No worries, we have the best sleeping bags in the world and we are quite cozy right now!

So that's the roller coaster we call life. Full of ups and downs. Fun and not so fun. And although I would have hidden in a hole many times over the last couple of weeks, laying her all snug with my precious babies and their Daddy, I realize I wouldn't change it for a thing!

Happy Halloween 2014

Lots of crazy things have been going on in our lives that I will update more on later, but, I have to stop and share pics of my little halloween cuties!

My sweet and handsome spider man! (It was an elaborate week of prep to get him into this costume. Will share about that later!)

He had a lot of fun trick or treating and was surprisingly social on this holiday!

My cold little Princess and her Daddy. She was sick but tried her hardest to enjoy it. We got a few blocks in before she went downhill. She sure looked like royalty though.

Hope you all made fun memories with your littles! Love the holiday season!
