You have light blond thin hair, are pale complected, and have bright blue eyes. You are a shorty and have tiny little feet! You are round in the head and tummy and have strong thick legs.

You are not a good napper, usually the first up at naptime, but you are a great night sleeper! You are OBSESSED with your paci when you are sleepy and have to have it to fall asleep. You have only rolled by yourself a couple times. You hate being on your tummy so don't seem too eager to crawl. We don't worry as much about you being buckled in because your round body makes it tough for you to try to get out of anything, yet!

You have a feisty, dependent, but super loving personality. You love to be cuddled, held, talked to, sang to and read to. You like to play but would much rather be entertained by someone instead of a toy. You talk enthusiastically and loudly and you giggle, laugh hard, and scream. I mean at the top of your lungs, honey that's your outside voice scream!!

You are our little daredevil. You love to jump hard in your jumperoo. You love to be thrown in the air, flipped upside down, pretend falling, swinging at the park, sliding with mom, anything that scares you in a fun way you enjoy!

You have a little trouble waking up in the morning but once I give you some time you are quickly a happy baby. You are like mom though, never the first to wake up in the morning!

You are my sweet, relaxed, chill, easy baby.

You have dark thin hair, are dark complected, and have dark eyes that are slowly turning green or brown, too soon to tell. You are long bodied and have rather large boy feet! You are small in the tummy but have strong thick legs.

You are a great napper but not as sound of a night sleeper. You will not take a paci but love to chew on your "Pupper" (little puppy lovie) to put yourself to sleep. You roll all over and are so beyond ready to crawl! You love being on your tummy. You can also arch your back and use your legs to try to get out of anything. For that reason you get buckled into everything!!

You have a gentle, independent, and funny personality. You don't like to be cuddled but love to be held and talked to. You get frustrated quickly when you can't get things to do what you are trying to get them to do. You "talk" sweetly and seriously but also love to squeal and laugh.

You tinker. You are your fathers son my little tinkerer. You are constantly reaching for things: your feet, wrappers, straps, cups, burp rag, logos on our shirts, toys, and your sisters hands and sometimes eyes to name a few. :)

5 Months, First Easter, and Trips Galore!

I am once again behind but I have 2 very good excuses!! The babies turned 5 months old on April 21st! How is that even possible? :)

At 5 months Mason weighs about 16 lbs and Mallory weighs about 15.5 lbs. Mason wears mostly 6 month clothes but some 9 month because of his long body. Mallory wears some 3 month clothes but mostly 6 month. Both are in size 2 diapers. What else are you doing at 5 months my little bitties? Still eating every 3 hours during the day, about 5-6 oz of Similac Advanced. You also eat rice cereal or oatmeal in the morning and a fruit at night. You love both!! You nap 45 min to an hour between each day feeding and sleep from 10 pm to 6-7 am straight. You get up to eat around that time and go back to sleep until 9 or 10 am. Well rested babies and a well rested Mama! ;) You both love to talk, play in your jumper and exersaucer, and smile all day! Mason can roll from tummy to back and back to tummy. Mallory can roll from tummy to back but does not love being on her tummy so doesn't roll that way yet! You are both sitting assisted and getting stronger as you work towards sitting on your own. You are not fans of riding in the car especially if you are tired. You do ride well if someone is in the backseat entertaining you though! :-) Your personalities are developing more everyday and I plan to blog about each baby individually soon. Besides all the obvious difference of having a boy and a girl...these kiddos are different down to the core!!! I love you both sweet angels!

We celebrated Easter in early April as well. One of my favorite holidays that I can't wait to share with the babies as they get older. This year we had a little fun complete with some egg hunting, Easter bunny baskets, and lots of family time!!

We also made 2 amazing trips in the last month. First, we had a great time in Dallas for our friends Charley and Jena's wedding. The babies came and stayed with Aunt Ami and Uncle Adam, my sweet sister and very proud Aunt and her husband, while we attended wedding festivities. They survived the weekend with our double trouble and I am convinced they are ready for one or two of their own! ;) Then we made a trip to Lubbock to see our wonderful friends Brad and Lacye and their sweet boys Maddox and Paxton. We adore that family and had a great time swimming and playing! Maddox has already promised to show Mason all the fun "big boy" things to do and we all agree that baby girl Harper (growing in Lacye's tummy) and Mallory will be the best of girlfriends!! Thanks to both families for opening your homes to our chaos for a couple of days! :)

It has been a very busy last couple months and in just a couple of weeks our little tiny 4 and a half pound newborns will be 6 months old! Stay tuned for a post all about Mason and some never before seen pics of this handsome little dude!
