The kids and I kicked it off with a breakfast play date at a super fun park!
Then we ran errands and had lunch with Daddy. D had plans with some guy friends that night and the kids were devastated when he left. Without a nap, I knew it would be an early night but we had a couple of hours to kill so we went to have ice cream for dinner and rode bikes at the park. They were in bed and out cold at 7:30. :)
Saturday morning we woke up and Mal and I kicked Daddy and Bubba out to the deer lease so we could have our first girls weekend! (D needed to do some work there and Maser has been craving his attention, so it worked out well for the 2 of them to go have guy time doing guy stuff.)
We started our day with Princess' first pedicure! Well, actually she is way way too short for the actual pedicure part but they cleaned up her feet and she picked a beautiful purple glitter nail polish.
She was so good while they were doing my pedi. She just sat there giggling and talking to me and I kept reminding her to let her toes dry. Ha.
Then we headed to the mall for lunch and shopping. After a quick rest it was time to get all dressed up for a dear friends birthday costume party.
Mallory made a beautiful princess and loved having her hair fixed, putting glitter in her hair and on her face, and wearing pretty pink lip gloss.
She had a blast at the birthday party and played all the games!
She won 3rd place out of almost 20 costumes!
And the day wore both of us out. She was thrilled about getting to sleep in Mommy's bed.
Sunday we played, made a quick visit to see baby Hudson, and had a lazy day around the house until Daddy and Bubba got home.
Then I received all these awesome pics of the boys weekend. Mason was not happy to be back at home. Haha. He sure is a Daddys boy.
He told me all about sleeping in the tent, hunting, the corn, the puppy, and having fun with Daddy. D said his favorite part was carrying the lantern around exploring at night. I loved hearing about their fun.
Hope y'all had a great weekend too!
