I decided this year to split the twins birthday into family and friend parties. There were just so many people last year at their first birthday and although we loved it, it was also overwhelming and hard for anyway to love on the kids. So last Wednesday we had a family birthday party at the house. I planned it the day before thanksgiving so that the family that was in town for the holiday could be there to celebrate as well.
It was also the first time for many of our family to see the new house and everyone enjoyed getting to come love on the babies and catch up with each other. The babies were of course blessed with some amazing gifts and had fun eating more cake and ice cream.
You better believe I just bought a cake at the store!
We made this party simple, fajitas and cake and ice cream. Done! It was all delicious too!
