10 months

The babies are 10 months old! Happy Birthday sweeties!

What's new at 10 months? Mason, you weigh 20.6 pounds and are about 29 1/2 in long. Mallory, you weigh 20 pounds even and are about 26 1/2 in long. You are both in size 4 diapers and mostly 9-12 month clothes. You are still on the same routine as last month but we are finally consistently sleeping from 8 pm to about 7 or 8 am without eating! Woohoo! You are eating lots more finger foods and love it and you also are great with your big sippy cups. Your most recent favorite new food is butter toast with a little strawberry fruit spread. You also enjoy arrowroot cookies that Gerber makes. You are still on formula just for a couple more months. (Thanks goodness, Mommy is so ready to ditch the bottles and quit spending so much money on formula! Ha!)

Mallory has 4 top teeth making there way in so will have a total of 8 soon! Mason still has 8 teeth but we think something else is going on in there because he sure is teething lately. Both babies are crawling, Mason still scoots occassionally but just in the last week has started crawling on all fours. He's been watching his sister who is a super fast crawler! ;) Both babies can also pull up very well on everything. They also both love to clap and "dance" (bounce) to music. Mason can wave and is such a flirt with ladies when we are out and about. It cracks me up the way he just turns on his handsome grin. Mallory has started this funny thing where she shakes her head "no" really dramatically. And she also spins herself in circles when she is sitting on her bottom. She is such a goofy little girl and I adore her spirit!

Our air conditioner broke. Dusty rigged it to work but we could not let it cycle off or we would have no air at all. My choice was to be cold instead of sweating miserably!

So we cranked the air down to 50 degrees and bundled up! This made me ready for fall and winter!

This past weekend we made a trip to Kyle, TX (Austin area) to spend some time with the babies great Aunt Sandy. She was so kind to open her home to our chaos and mess. We know she enjoyed it and so did we. Mallory had a pretty rough day on Saturday because of her teeth but all in all it was a great trip!

Sandy lives in a cute little 50's style neighborhood with great parks and lots of TREES. So of course we enjoyed some swinging!

We planned the trip so we could also attend Dusty's Popo's (grandpa) brothers wedding.

This was the first "quiet" event we have attempted with the babies. They did great! Sure Mason tooted in the middle of their vows, Mallory talked to everyone in the pews near us and Mason even "sang" along with the couple who played the guitar and sang a song during the ceremony. But they really did so wonderful and were even great at the reception!

I feel very blessed with an amazing and hard working husband as well as 2 beautiful and healthy babies. I thank God everyday for them. Now I have to cherish these last few months before my buggies turn ONE!
