I have to apologize for my terrible blogging record in the last couple months. I don't really know what has been keeping me so busy, I guess life with these little bugs is just non-stop going and doing! I wouldn't have it any other way but now I need to catch up!
What are you guys up to on your 8 month birthday? You both weigh a little over 20 lbs and wear 6-9 month and some 12 month clothes. Maser, you are still in size 3 diapers but sister, we have you in 4's because your chubby thighs need the extra room! :0 We are loving your routine and you both have adapted so well. You get up about 8 in the morning and have a bottle, play for a couple hours then have a snack (recently started working on small finger foods like yogurt melts and cereal puffs), then take a nap around 10 am. You sleep about an hour and then we play and get ready for lunch. You eat some fruit, a veggie, and some cereal for lunch and then have another bottle. You play for a couple more hours or we run errands, have another snack, and then go down for your afternoon nap around 2. You usually sleep about 2 hours in the afternoon. Mal, you are doing much better at taking longer naps or at least going back to sleep if you wake up too early. Then you eat dinner about 4, a meat, a veggie, and a bottle. We play and play until about 7 and then we start bath time! You LOVE taking baths! We have great little bath seats so you can both safely take a bath and while we are in there we read books and brush your teeth! Then its time for lotion, jammies, your bedtime bottle, and then you are in bed about 8! You do usually still get up to eat once a night but there have been a couple nights you have slept right through. You really are awesome little babies and are so happy and giggly most of the day.
What better way to catch up then through some cute pictures!
Mal got her ears pierced! Big girl!
We wear lots of different outfits but since it has been so hot we spend most of our time just in diapers!
We enjoyed our first Independence Day!
We spent it seeing Popo on our first trip to Fredericksburg.
