My bestest friend Lacye spent this past weekend with me and it was some MUCH NEEDED girl time! We had so much fun, talked too much, ate too much, spent way too much money and stayed up way too late! And loved every minute of it! She got in on Friday and was able to spend some time with my monkeys before I shipped them off to Gamaw for the night. (Thanks so much to my MIL and FIL for keeping the buggies!)

Best friends and the twins (and Jessie and Woody, of course)
Friday night Lace and I were able to go out and have some drinks, long chats, and good food. Saturday we spent the whole day shopping! We love shopping together and we can always do some real damage, but it's our girls weekend tradition! Saturday Dusty offered to keep the twins so we could enjoy another dinner out. (Side note: Lacye and I ate the exact same thing every meal the entire weekend, all the way down to the drink and flavor of chips. Ha! True friends!) Then we stayed up way late watching Dawson's Creek reruns and chatting. I am so thankful to have her in my life and that she was willing to spend her childless weekend away with me!
Sunday, after Lace departed back to her sweet family, we just enjoyed my favorite "lazy day Sunday" around the house as a family. We did lots of playing outside with these little cuties.

Mason playing inside the tote (I don't know his obsession with sitting in boxes, see this?)
And now everyone is in the box!
The kids LOVE being outside. I snapped these pics of them last week. I am happy I have some little outside bugs!
My super handsome but getting too big boy!
Pretty little sister playing
Having a nice little chat at their picnic table, so sweet!
And I found this gem on the computer today and just wanted to share. This was the day of her first ponytail... a very momentous occasion in our house!
Too cute for words!
Have a blessed week! Praying for all of those affected by the Boston tragedy today. I just can't imagine...
