Happy 4th Birthday!

The weekend before Thanksgiving was the kids fourth birthday! I can't believe that we are here. It feels like yesterday that I was bringing home my little tiny babies. And now they are preschoolers!

That Friday we were joined by our best girlfriends! We were able to enjoy dinner and some shopping together that evening! D and Mason went to the deer lease with Papaw and cousin Christian that night so it was a true girls slumber party!

These cute girls are the best! Busy playing together. It was so fun to watch them!

We did a little impromptu shopping while we waited for our table. Lace bought the girls these precious puppy purses.

That night they wore their matching pjs and took some silly pics!

Sad faces

Silly faces

That Saturday was the kids birthday and party day! We spent the day doing a few things to prep for the party. It was so nice to not have to get my own house ready though. We decided to do it at Mals dance studio this year and it was perfect!

Mallory wanted a princess party and Mason wanted a superhero birthday so it made for a cute joint bday theme. I love how their cakes turned out!

We had lots of friends and family at the birthday party and everyone had a blast. I think they could have stayed all night.

I am so thankful that my sister, Gamaw and my friend Haley got such good pics at the party because I was too busy to take many.

Look at all those sweet kiddos!

Boys will be boys!

Thank you to all of the wonderful families that came to celebrate another birthday with our biggest blessings. We are so thankful for all the love shown to our family that day!

More fun updates to come including the kids family birthday, a 4 year post, Thanksgiving, and our trip to Fredericksburg!

Rewind

I was putting off logging on to my blog because I was certain i hadn't posted since Halloween. And of course that is true! This is the busiest time of the year for sure. I would like to rewind a bit.

The weekend after Halloween weekend, I was able to go to Lubbock to spend a weekend with my best friend. We stayed in a hotel, did tons of shopping and ate some delicious food! I gain like 10 pounds every time we get together for moms weekend but it's totally worth it! Haha.

Love her!

That same weekend Mallory stayed with Gamaw and Papaw because she had come down with a bad case of strep and was feeling yucky. D took Mason to the deer lease for opening day of white tail season!

D shot a buck and this was one happy little boy! He sure loves hunting with Daddy!

That week we had peek week at dance and got to watch our little dancer!

We also had the kids Thanksgiving feast at school!

Our school is kind of far out so we are thankful Gamaw and Papaw have flexible work schedules so they could come join us! The kids were excited!

My little fall cuties! They are just looking so grown up these days!

My next post, coming very soon I promise, will be about the twins 4th birthday!! A fun celebration with lots of pics to share!

Halloween and More

Halloween week was busy and lots of memories were made with these cutie kiddos!

We made a trip to the pumpkin patch!

Pumpkin picking is clearly hard work! ;)

Mallory was able to wear her costume to her dance class and all her friends were in awe of her Anna dress. I've never seen Mallory shy and embarrassed but the girls could not quit looking at her and I could tell it freaked her out a little, haha.

Thursday at school was Storybook Character Day.

Thankful we had a Captian America book and shirt to wear! He loved it!

Mallory's was a little harder to plan, but it turned out cute! Purple cat from Brown Bear, Brown Bear! She loves cats so she thought this was pretty special!

Thursday after school was the trick or treat at Daddy's work!

We found Elsa too! :)

After trick or treating we hurried out to watch our nephews last home game of the season.

Beautiful football weather!

Being silly with Papaw!

Friday night we painted and carved pumpkins! Baby Hudson and Mami came over to hang out too!

Saturday we had our last soccer games for the season. The kids made incredible progress over the last 8 weeks and we enjoyed watching them, but we are happy to have our weekends back for sure!

GO BLASTERS!

GO RUGRATS!

D helped coach the last couple of games and all the boys played so well. Mason scored 5 GOALS his last game! He really impresses us with his natural athletic abilities. Now we have to work on getting him to not fall down every play. He watched one professional game on TV and saw how they fall down when fouled and now he thinks he is supposed to do that! :/

The closest thing I could get to a smile!

That night was Halloween. We went to Honey and Poppys house to trick or treat their neighborhood.

Cutie pies!

M&M love their baby cousin so much. He is such a sweet boy!

Trick or Treat Honey and Poppy!

Super Hudson and that little smirk! :))

They are off!!

We lasted about 2 blocks before the kids were ready to head back and play. Mason ended up standing at the front door the rest of the evening passing out candy. He absolutely loved it! Towards the end of the night he ran out of candy in his little basket so he came to me in the kitchen, said "mom, I don't need to eat my candy, I'm going to give it to the kids, ok Mom?" Then he dumped his whole bucket into the basket and went back to giving treats out. It was so cute.

Halloween may not rank highest on my list of favorite holidays but I do enjoy making memories with the kids and witnessing their joy while participating in the fun of the holiday.
