Spring Shenanigans

Picking up where I left off in March...

The rest of our Spring was very busy. We got word that the kids were waitlisted at our school of choice, so we decided to put our house on the market and move into another school district. Our house sold in one day and we found out 2 weeks later that we actually DID get into our first choice private school. Things felt very up in the air for a while, luckily we had so much going on, I didn't even stress about it too much!

Baseball was in full swing...

Opening Cermony

Love these two!

I had my annual girls trip...

Great memories with my sweet girls!

Celebrated Easter...

 Celebrated our buddy Paxton's birthday...

And in between all that fun, I packed up our house to prepare for the big move!

Next up will be the end of year program at school, end of baseball and Mal's dance recital! (All from ONE weekend in May!) Then the move and what I'm looking forward to journaling the most: DISNEY WORLD! :)

I'm Still Standing

How has it been months since I updated this blog?! I promise I will get back to this. We have had the craziest last 4 months and I can't wait to share it all! We've had some major changes happen including selling our house and buying a new house, as well as an amazing 10 day vacation to Disney World. I am still unpacking boxes and trying to get us settled before the kids start kindergarten (NO!), but I will make every effort I can to start some new posts to get caught up! Until then, I will leave you with one picture from our trip to the most magical place on earth!

March Madness

Turns out March was much better to us than February was. Here are some of the highlights of our busy fun!

The kids have been doing much better behaviorally, making better choices and improving in the areas of obedience and being respectful. We still have a long way to go but they were both able to fill their first sticker chart and I allowed them a prize of their own choosing. Mason was thrilled about getting this kinetic rock sand kit.

And Mal picked a hatchimal. (I was able to hunt one day at our Target! They are slowly getting easier to find!) The excitement on their faces while they were watching it hatch was priceless!

Her cute blue Draggle!

Daddy went on his annual bird hunting trip, so I offered to take our sweet Hud for a fun cousin sleepover. We ate dinner and played at the beloved Burger King, haha.

Goofy kids with way too much energy for bedtime!

All snug in Mals bed! (She ended up having to move to a mattress on the floor because both boys were snoring! Lol.)

Donuts the next morning! It was an incredibly fun night and everyone did so well!

The twins got some playtime with their cousin Christian over Spring Break!

We celebrated Aunt Mami's 35th birthday! She still looks 20! ;)

Park fun with cousin Hud for Mami's birthday celebration! I just love these 3 kids to peices!

Mason started baseball practice! We are playing coach pitch this year, woohoo!

A stop in Academy must always include the free entertainment in the golf section. Haha.

I was able to attend my sweet cousin Laura's bridal luncheon!

We went to the Texas Tech Spring football game here. Mason coincedentally found his little baseball teammate Cooper and they had a blast playing cornhole. (Or throwing the bean bags as hard as they could!)

Had fun tailgating with our sweet friends!

Wreck em!
(Look how huge Raider Red was. Notice my tiny people at the bottom! Haha!)

We also had the pleasure of attending my sweet cousins beautiful wedding! (My babies all dressed up!)
My cousin Laura actually married my brother-in-laws brother. They officially met at my sisters wedding but started talking after they "re-met" at Hudsons baby shower at my house! So it really was a huge family celebration and we are so happy that they found each other in such a special way!

I sure do love these precious kids!

We don't clean up like this too often. It was definitely worth trying to get a family picture. Even if it's full of fake awkward smiles by all. Hahahaha!

The beautiful bride and my uncle! Such a perfect wedding!

And of course, the night would not be complete without a picture of these 3 looking so fancy! The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a blast! The kids danced all night and are still talking about how much fun they had!

We wrapped up another swim lesson session and the twins are doing great. Both in the next to last level learning how to side breath and perfecting their form on all their strokes. They are going to be little fish this summer for sure! Can't wait to be ready for pre-team swimming! (Note the kids shoes in this pic. They thought that was so hilarious!)

We had another observation day at dance and Mal was wonderful. Her technique and coordination has improved tremendously since last year and she was elated the entire time we watched. I cannot wait to watch her at recital!

The kids had farm day at school and they encouraged everyone to dress up. They got to talk about farm animals and make butter!

And we ended the month with a Mommy/kids lunch and movie date to watch Boss Baby while Dad went on a hunting trip. The kids had been talking about seeing this movie since it first showed up in previews. They giggled a ton and I thought it was pretty cute too. But mostly enjoyed listening to their little laughs and spending time with my babes.

What am I going to do with myself when they are in kindergarten next year!? I can't even think about that. :(

Ready for a fun April full of baseball games, Mommys 4th annual girls trip, Easter, our friend Paxton's birthday, and I'm sure lots more exciting times with my crew! This year is flying by!
